Support for women affected by abuse in London
Safe Horizons London Partnership is a collaboration of 13 specialist organisations, we will provide free:
- confidential information and guidance,
- trauma-informed support,
- advocacy,
- safety-planning,
to survivors of domestic abuse aged 16 years and over in London.
We are committed to offering a safe, respectful, and affirming environment for every domestic abuse survivor. We offer support regardless of whether a crime has been reported to the police.
Safe Horizons may provide advice and support to family members, friends and professionals who are seeking support on the victim or survivor’s behalf. If you think you are in immediate danger from your abuser/s, please call 999 and ask for the police.
How we can support you
Through Safe Horizons, we want to make sure that if you are experiencing domestic abuse or harmful practices and you are based in London, that you get the information and support you need. Our service offers free and confidential advice to South Asian women aged over 16.
How to make a referral
To make a self referral or a professional referral, you can click here, go to the ‘Get Support’ button, complete the form and submit. Your request with then be assessed and referred into our service where required. Alternatively, you can call the helpline 0808 168 9291

Who we support
Please note that our service supports women from South Asian backgrounds (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan, Punjab, Nepal, Afghanistan) and other countries who share similar cultural challenges in accessing support as a result of domestic abuse or harmful practices.
Language support can be offered in English, Panjabi, Hindi, Urdu and Potwari.
Please also note that we do not offer refuge/accomodation, legal or immigration advice, we are not mental health specialists and we do not offer face to face support.
