Last year, we launched the Our Girl campaign calling for education institutions to help prevent forced marriage. The aim is to work with colleges and universities to train staff to spot the signs of forced marriage and prevent, create a student led support network, embed forced marriage as part of their safeguarding policies and signpost those at risk or affected to access support.

We  are pleased to have joined Solihull college and university centre freshers fair to raise awareness on the issues of forced marriage.

It is estimated that 5,000 to 8,000 reported cases of forced marriage take place in England each year. This estimate does not include the potentially large number of cases that do not come to the attention of agencies or professionals.

If you are affected or know somebody that needs help, please contact us.
